How much will my custom cabinets cost?
Estimate your project
Three choices, no sign-up. The result is a planning number; the written price comes after an in-home measure.
Measure along each wall where cabinets will go, base and uppers counted together, and add the length of an island. A 10×10 kitchen is about 20 feet.
Your estimate
20 linear feet · Select · $1,050 per foot
From $21,000
Typical range: $21,000 to $27,300, installed.
Most projects land within about 30% above the starting price, depending on tall cabinets, how many drawers you choose, specialty storage and finish.
Founding client offer: $1,000 off this kitchen if it is one of our first 5, in return for photographing the finished project.
Includes design drawings, cabinets, finishing, Blum hardware, a standard set of pulls and knobs, delivery and installation in Boulder County. Excludes countertops, plumbing, electrical, demolition and appliances.
How does this estimate work?
It multiplies the linear feet you enter by the starting price of the package you choose, then shows a typical range above that number.
The starting price is what a straightforward layout costs: standard-height uppers, a normal mix of doors and drawers, no tall cabinets or specialty storage. Most kitchens add a few of those, so we show a typical range up to about 30% above the starting price. The written price after an in-home measure replaces both numbers; see how our process works.
How do I count linear feet?
Measure along each wall where cabinets will go, end to end, with base and upper cabinets counted together. Add the length of an island or peninsula.
- Include the openings for the range and dishwasher; there are cabinets above or beside them.
- Leave out the refrigerator opening unless you want a cabinet above it.
- Count an island once, by its length, even though it has cabinets on both sides; finished backs and end panels are built into the per-foot price.
- A 10×10 kitchen with cabinets on two walls is about 20 feet. An L-shape with an 8-foot island is often 30 to 35 feet.
What moves a project above the starting price?
Tall cabinets, a drawer-heavy layout, ceiling-height uppers, inset doors, specialty storage and mixed finishes. Each is priced as a line item in the written quote.
- Tall pantry and oven cabinets. More material and more hardware per foot than a base-and-upper run.
- Drawers instead of doors. Drawers store more and cost more; each one adds a box and a pair of slides.
- Ceiling-height uppers. Taller boxes or a second stacked cabinet above the standard upper.
- Face-frame construction with inset doors. A Signature option at +$300 per linear foot; see frameless vs. face-frame cabinets.
- Specialty storage. Pull-outs, roll-outs, dividers and appliance garages, priced per piece.
- Two finishes. A painted island with an oak perimeter means two finishing processes.
- Site conditions. Out-of-level floors, bowed walls and deliveries with stairs add install time; projects outside Boulder County add travel.
What is included in the number?

What happens after the estimate?
Send it to Sam from the estimator, or request a written ballpark with photos and rough measurements. If the ballpark works, the next step is an in-home measure, then a design and a written price. Lead time is about 8–10 weeks from signed design to install.

Estimate questions
How much do custom cabinets cost for a 10x10 kitchen?
A 10x10 kitchen has about 20 linear feet of cabinets. With Woodridge packages that is $15,000 to $19,500 for Essential, $21,000 to $27,300 for Select and $29,000 to $37,700 for Signature, installed in Boulder County, including a standard set of pulls and knobs. Countertops and appliances are separate.
Why is the estimate a range instead of one number?
The starting price assumes a straightforward layout: standard-height uppers, a normal mix of doors and drawers, no tall cabinets. Most projects add some of those, which is why we show a typical range up to about 30% above the starting price. The written price after the in-home measure is exact.
Does the estimate include countertops, installation or removal of old cabinets?
It includes design drawings, cabinets, finishing, Blum hardware, a standard set of pulls and knobs, delivery and installation in Boulder County. It does not include countertops, plumbing, electrical, demolition and appliances. Removing old cabinets is quoted separately and depends on how they were attached.
How do I measure linear feet for this estimate?
Measure along each wall where cabinets will go, from end to end, with base and upper cabinets counted together, and include the openings for the range and dishwasher. Add the length of an island or peninsula. Leave out the refrigerator opening unless you want a cabinet above it.
Can I get an estimate for a vanity or mudroom?
Yes. Choose the room, enter its length and the same per-foot pricing applies. Small rooms cost less in total, and the in-home measure confirms details like plumbing positions and bench height before the written price.
Is the instant estimate a quote?
No. It is a planning number built from our published package prices. A quote is a written price for an approved design after an in-home measure, and it lists every cabinet, panel, filler and accessory.
