About Woodridge Cabinets

Who is Woodridge Cabinets?
Who runs Woodridge Cabinets?
Woodridge Cabinets is an owner-run CNC cabinet shop in Boulder County, owned and run by Sam Claassen.
How new is Woodridge Cabinets?
Brand new. We started in 2026, and we don’t have completed projects, reviews or awards to point to yet.
You won’t find invented history or borrowed project photos here. The kitchen and shop images on this site are illustrations of the kind of work we build, and they’re labeled that way. Here’s what you can judge us on instead:
- A written build standard. Frameless (full-access) boxes (or face-frame cabinets, including inset doors) in 3/4-inch plywood, with Blum soft-close hinges and Blum full-extension, soft-close undermount drawer slides.
- Drawings before you commit. 3D views and dimensioned elevations of every wall, so you see exactly what you’re paying for.
- A written price for exactly what’s drawn, after an in-home measure. See how our process works.
- Straight answers. Our FAQ and guides explain costs, construction and the trade-offs between cabinet types.
Why kitchens first?
Because the kitchen is where custom sizing pays off most. It has the most cabinets, the most appliances to fit around and the most daily use.
Getting a kitchen right means measuring carefully, planning drawers around what you actually store and fitting cabinets to walls that are rarely straight. Once that’s done, the same door style and finish can carry into a bathroom vanity, a laundry room or mudroom, or a pantry or built-in, so the house reads as one project. Start with custom kitchen cabinets.
Why only a few door styles and finishes?
So every option is one we build often and know well. A short list keeps quality consistent, decisions faster and pricing clearer.
Our standard door styles are Shaker, Slim Shaker and Slab, and our finishes are painted (a curated palette), natural white oak, stained white oak and walnut. Between them, those styles suit a 1900s bungalow, a mid-century ranch and a new subdivision house. Combinations are grouped into packages, so you can compare options without pricing every detail one at a time.
Why build on a CNC?
Precision and repeatability. A CNC router cuts and drills every part to the drawing, so boxes come out square, gaps between doors stay even and parts match from room to room.
It also uses each sheet of plywood efficiently, which keeps waste down. The machine doesn’t replace careful measuring or fitting on site; it makes sure the parts are exactly what was designed. More in frameless vs. face-frame cabinets.
Where does the name come from?
Woodridge is wood plus ridge: the material we work with, and the Front Range ridgeline that sits on the western horizon across Boulder County. Longmont itself is named for its view of Longs Peak.
Where do we work?
Boulder County, starting with Longmont and Boulder, and also Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, Niwot and Superior. See areas we serve, or request a quote.
About Woodridge Cabinets: common questions
When was Woodridge Cabinets founded?
Woodridge Cabinets was founded in 2026. It's a new business, so there are no completed projects, customer reviews or years in business to point to yet. The site says so plainly instead of using borrowed photos or invented history, and every image on it is labeled as an illustration.
Where does Woodridge Cabinets work?
Boulder County, Colorado. Longmont and Boulder come first, and the service area also includes Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, Niwot and Superior, plus foothills and canyon homes in the county. Woodridge Cabinets is a service-area business, so the measure and the install happen at your home.
What does Woodridge Cabinets build?
Custom kitchen cabinets first, plus bathroom vanities, laundry and mudroom cabinets, pantries and built-ins. Every project is designed for the specific room and cut on a CNC, and other rooms can match the kitchen's door style and finish so the whole house looks consistent.
Why does Woodridge Cabinets build on a CNC?
A CNC router cuts and drills every cabinet part to the exact dimensions in the drawing, so boxes come out square, door gaps stay even and parts match across rooms. It also nests parts tightly on each plywood sheet to cut waste. Careful measuring and installation still matter; the CNC makes sure the parts match the design.
Does Woodridge Cabinets have reviews or past projects I can see?
Not yet. As a business started in 2026, there are no completed projects or reviews to share, and none are faked on this site. What you can judge before committing is the written build standard, the design drawings for your own room and a written price for exactly what's drawn.
